Interested in Volunteering?
Interested in volunteering in New Orleans? Heart-to-Heart has 7 to 10 day deployments to volunteer in the free health clinics.

Heart to Heart has been working along the Gulf Coast region since late August 2005, following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. They delivered humanitarian aid and established medical clinics throughout the area. Heart to Heart volunteers provide free medical care and counseling. They have created a unique health partnership with the city of New Orleans and are currently serving as a local safety net while hospitals and clinics recover from the storms.

New Orleans clinics need skilled physicians, nurses and nonmedical volunteers to staff and run mobile clinics in the New Orleans area (they’ll take medical students too). There are seven- to 10-day projects to care for approximately 75-100 people a day. Heart to Heart provides ground transportation, food and housing, once you are in New Orleans.

TESTIMONIALS
The encouragement and support HCOE provides for students that, otherwise, would not have received it, is the most commendable service I have found in many years.
